Job overview:

ü  Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to: accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger and taxes

ü  Help with quarterly and year-end financial audit activities and the annual corporate financial controls audit

ü  Assess current practices and procedures, and make recommendations for improvements

ü  Prepares financial statements, business activity reports monthly, yearly and anytime when requested, inform the management about the results and highlight possible improvement measures;

ü  Optimizes taxes and fees paid by the company, ensure the financing sources for the company, cash control and cash optimization;

ü  Perform ad hoc analysis and projects as requested

ü  Supervise and/or manage general ledger accounting functions

ü  Develop staff by managing performance, setting goals, providing ongoing training, and maintaining strong employee relationships

ü  Work with external auditors to ensure correct and timely closing and reporting

Qualifications for Accounting Manager position:

ü  Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.

ü  5+ years of progressive accounting experience, also being in a supervisory role

ü  Thorough knowledge of IFRS, Romanian legislation, transfer pricing, statutory.

ü  Excellent verbal and written communication abilities across all level of an organization

ü  Strong leadership skills with a dedication to driving and achieving results

ü  Knowledge of employee relationship building and performance management techniques

ü  Advanced English, Microsoft Excel skills. Experience with other financial system.
