Requirements

Required qualifications and experience: 

·         BSc/MSc degree in Engineering focused on software development in the area of motion control

·         Familiar with model-based software design by using MATLAB & Simulink and C-Code generation

·         Detailed understanding of Field Oriented Control algorithms of permanent magnet synchronous motors

·         Basic knowledge in power electronics, especially in drives and inverters used in motor control applications

·         Very good English language skills both written and verbal

·         Willingness to travel to our global power electronic departments to work on the common platform strategy



Description

Job responsibilities:

The activity is the development of variable speed drives as part of our compression technology for the heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration industry.

 

The assignment involves software and project engineering topics as part of our global power electronics team.

 

Essential functions:

·         Model-based software design based on MATLAB & Simulink for our variable speed drives

·         Software testing, qualification and verification based on the V-Model

·         Matching the drive with the compressor motor by evaluation and adjusting of the motor parameters

·         System related software testing regarding startup behavior and general envelop operation verification

·         Collaborating with our global power electronic teams based on a common platform strategy
