Requirements

Essential functions:

·         Develop and evaluate power electronic drive concepts and designs based on a global platform strategy

·         Working on drive specification documents, component selection and the definition on product validation test plans

·         Collaborating with ext. design and manufacturing partners on the schematics, PCB, BOM and test specification

·         Involving and working with 3th party agencies like VDE, TÜV in the specification and qualification process

·         Verification testing’s against the specification in terms of functionality, reliability, efficiency and standard conformity 

Required qualifications and experience: 

·         BSc/MSc degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering and 3 years of related experience

·         Advanced knowledge in power electronics, especially in drives and inverters for motion control applications

·         Familiar with motor technologies in general and especially with permanent magnet synchronous motors

·         Design experience based on global directives and product related standards

·         Demonstrate very good English language skills both written and verbal

·         Willingness to travel to our global power electronic departments to work on the common platform strategy



Description

Job responsibilities:

The activity is the development of variable speed drives as part of our compression technology for the heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration industry.

 

The assignment involves project-based engineering topics as part of our power electronics team.
